  15. Rev. Ora Love Rev. Ora L. Love was born in Tate County, Mississippi and reared in Memphis, Tennessee. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior when she was thirteen years old. Later in life, she was exposed to life experiences that helped to sensitize her to the plight of the needs of the wounded, needy and desolate people. She declared herself, “Sold Out” To God.

  16. Rev. Love was licensed to the Gospel Ministry in 1985. She has been an activist over the years, in community and political activities. Her community involvement is further extended as she speaks at numerous churches, workshops, and seminars for both youth and adults, especially in the area of addiction and recovery. She has received many awards in recognition of her community involvement, and her walk with the Lord.

  17. The History of CUAA In 1987, the six founders envisioned the Ministry of Christians United Against Addiction in response to the needs of born-again persons and their suffering family members, whose lives had been ravaged by the devastating effects of substance abuse. Essential to the Ministry is CUAA’s network of Family Addiction Support Groups, that create an outlet for victims of the recovery process to share experiences and to encourage one another through prayer and group support. These Support Groups meet around the City of Philadelphia.

  18. In twenty years, thousands of lives have been touched and changed. God has used the Ministry to repair many broken homes and families, by teaching and education on addiction and helping them to become rooted and grounded in His WORD.One of CUAA’s greatest accomplishments has been Support Group Ministry in Georgetown, SC, Mahpec, NY and Norristown, PA. Another is that CUAA has its own website. We can be found at www.cuaa.org.

  42. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.  For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. ~ Habukkuk 2:2-3
