Bose • He is an electrical engineering professor at the Massachusetts institute of technology • He bought a high end stereo system and discovered that it didn’t meet his requirements • This inspired him to do some extensive research into sound and eventually led to him founding BOSE in 1964

  3. Type of Sound • The BOSE sound is based on extensive research into psychonautics • This type of sound makes it seem like you are in a live performance • This new type of sound offered a new type of speakers • Instead of the traditional floor standing speakers he was able to make smaller ones that could fit just about anywhere

  4. Success • BOSE has an estimated revenue of $1.8 billion • Ranked 2nd in the world when it comes to home audio retail, Sony is 1st • BOSE products are highly regarded throughout the world and can be found in anything that is expensive and emits sound.

  5. Products • BOSE currently has contracts with the Armed Forces, NASA, and the Olympics. • They specialize in head equipment for soldiers and pilots. • His products can also be found in Ferrari’s and the Japan National Theatre.
