Independent Study & Online Learning • MDE approval as IS program • Students must meet at-risk criteria • (Minnesota Statutes 124D.68, subd. 2) • Age 16+ (15 and younger require 50% face to face interaction) • IS & OLL seat-based program (hybrid program) • IS & OLL without the classroom • Requires 20% teacher and student contact
