  1. Victory TabernacleA Family Worship Center“Visioncast”  Where there is no vision, the people perish… Proverbs 29:18 (King James Version)

  2. I have a dream that Victory Tabernacle, A Family Worship Center… • Will be passionately in love with Jesus, demonstrating our love through heartfelt praise and worship that touches heaven and changes the earth • Will be a powerful, influential church, led by the Holy Spirit, whose direction and strength is found in prayer • Will focus on reaching the lost, dying and broken, and point them to a God who will give them a new life song

  3. I have a dream that Victory Tabernacle, A Family Worship Center… • Will be a church where everyone is important and where unconditional love is practiced • Will teach the uncompromising Word of God in order to bring radical change to those who will embrace it. • Will be a church whose altars are constantly filled with repentant sinners responding to the Lord’s call to salvation

  4. I have a dream that Victory Tabernacle, A Family Worship Center… • Will be filled with people who will count the cost and determine to pay the price for revival to sweep the land starting with the neighborhood • Will be committed to training and empowering a leadership generation to reap the end-time harvest • Will dare to have the faith and fortitude to partner with God to the end that Del Paso Heights and the surrounding area will be saved!

  5. How will we get there? • Passionate Worship: The gateway to the Presence of God • Psalms 22:3 (KJV) But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. • We are people of the presence. Every service needs to be a divine encounter • The style and temperature of worship defines both church and congregation. At Victory Tabernacle, A Family Worship Center the approach will be a blend of passionate contemporary music together with some classical elements of worship. We will strive for musical excellence keeping the goal of an encounter with the living God in sharp focus.

  6. How will we get there? • Passionate Worship: The gateway to the Presence of God • Psalms 22:3 (KJV) But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. • We are people of the presence. Every service needs to be a divine encounter • To promote excellence in worship, there will be sufficient rehearsal and prayer time to prepare both musically and spiritually for the worship service. • Time spent in the presence of God is the measure of success in worship.

  7. How will we get there? • Prayer: • The only way we will succeed in building this church is to do it God’s way. We are asking for prayer partners, who in this stage of our church development, will commit to getting on their knees and staying there until God speaks. • We also need regular times of corporate prayer.

  8. How will we get there? • Evangelism: The heart of God– 2 Peter 3:9 • The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (KJV) • The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. (NIV)

  9. How will we get there? • Evangelism: The heart of God—Proverbs 11:30 • The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. (KJV) • The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise.  (NKJ)

  10. How will we get there? • Discipleship: Becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus • The word “discipleship” means practical training to move congregation members from whatever level of Biblical understanding and life application they currently have, to becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. That means not only knowledge of the scriptures, but also evidence of life application.

  11. How will we get there? • Discipleship: Becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus • “Discipleship” also means doing the same things that Jesus did (see John 14:12) “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father”

  12. How will we get there? • Community: Living life deeply with one another (see 1 Peter 1:22) Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart

  13. From A Pastor’s Heart At this stage of my life, I really only desire two things of the Lord: • The first is to be living in the very center of God’s will for my life. • The second would be to live it in the context of authentic community. As a pastor I need friends and prayer partners in order to achieve all that God has for me and for us.

  14. From A Pastor’s Heart I want Victory Tabernacle, A Family Worship Center to be a church where people can find a place to be accepted and to belong. Community is where people are unconditionally loved and deeply appreciated. I believe that in our increasingly high tech/low touch world, people are starved for significant relationships with one another and with God. Creating a place where people can find both, I believe, is the heart of God.
