Backround Need of having more information about the use of energy and energy efficiency All started at the campaign for the second grade students (elementary school) at the year 1996 Energy Awareness Week started 1997 A tool for campaigning for better energy use in organisations, municipalities, companies and also consumers The national object to decrease the use of energy in Finland

  3. Energy AwarenessWeek • This year 7.-13.10.2013 • The object is to raise up the effective use of energy in the organisations, companies and communities • Consumers come up with media/social media and also through organisations • Execution of the week is free, for examples • having activites inside the organisation • doing activities together with costumers and business partners • Participation 2012: over 330 organisations + 670 followers in Facebook
