ACP Conference 2015 Welcome

The .ACP Conference 2015 saw a significant increase in overall satisfaction, with improvements in Times and Sunday Times League tables. Brookes had numerous successes, including the appointment of new Chancellor Katherine Grainger. Student recruitment targets were met, and REF 2014 showed internationally recognized achievements. The appointment of a Principal Lecturer for ACP and approval of a suite of programmes by IMechE and IET were also highlights. NSS outcomes revealed high levels of satisfaction, and May elections introduced 'technical degrees' agreed cross-party. Uncapping of student numbers and consultation on External Quality Assurance tender were other important developments, along with addressing 'cold spot' research.
