Activity 1 – What does population distribution and population density mean ? • Read page 62 of Key Geography Book 1 Write down what the following key terms mean : Population Distribution Population Density Sparsely Populated Densely Populated - how spread out people are across the Earth’s surface - the number of people living in a given area (km²) - places with a few people living there with a low population density - places that are crowded with a high population density
