Impossible Table. This construction from Swedish artist Oscar Reutersvard is not physically possible. Andrew Lipson and Daniel Shiu make wonderful creations using LEGO.  Together, they have replicated several of MC Escher's famous works.  Shown above is their rendition of 'Relativity'.

  2. This construction from Swedish artist Oscar Reutersvard is not physically possible.

  3. Andrew Lipson and Daniel Shiu make wonderful creations using LEGO.  Together, they have replicated several of MC Escher's famous works.  Shown above is their rendition of 'Relativity'.

  4. Three Fishes Tessellation Dr. Robert Fathauer has been designing his own tessellations for over 20 years.  He designed the image above in 1994.  This design features rotational symmetry around the tail, top fin and mouth.

  5. The Mask of Love was another finalist in the 2011 Best Illusion of the Year Contest.  Most viewers see a blurry face within the mask.  Closer examination, however, reveals that there are actually two faces within the mask - one of a man and the other of a woman.  Can you find them?

  7. British artist Catherine Leah Palmer designed this series of impossible tower buildings.  This would be a very confusing place to call home.

  10. Are the lines below straight or are they curved? Try putting a straight edge against the lines on your screen to test your conclusion.

  11. It's a spiral, right? Take a closer look, it could be a grouping of circles.

  12. Look carefully at the center dots on both the left and right.Which dot is bigger? Are you sure they aren't both the same size?

  13. How many legs does this elephant have?

  14. What do you see below? A lady or a musician? See both?

  15. Look carefully at the two pink diagonal lines. Are they the same shade of pinkor are they different shades? Look carefully, they are the same. Don't let your eyes deceive you!

  16. How many full cubes can you count in this pattern? Six or seven?

  17. Which vertical line is longer? They are both the same length, actually. Measure them!

  18. Are the two purple lines parallel or are the bent?

  19. What do you see? Rectangles or diamonds? Or both?

  20. Do the solid black lines seem to bend? Use a straightedge to see if they do bend.

  21. Look at the red lines, do they appear to be wavy? They're actually straight, the circles make them appear wavy

  22. Which line connects to line C? A or B? Line B actually connects, but its a close call!

  23. Which black rectangle is bigger? Would you believe that they are both the same size?

  24. Can you find the lowest step in this image? How is this possible? It just keeps on going...

  25. Do you see the two shades of green below? Would you believe that there is actually only one shade of green?

  26. Which man is the tallest in the picture below? Look closer. All three are exactly the same size

  27. Which object is bigger? They are both the same size.

  28. What do you see? An old man or two people kissing?

  29. Are the lines below straight or crooked? Hold something straight up next to them to check.

  30. Is the circle below perfectly round?

  31. The gear wheels should appear to SLOWLY rotate. The one on the left side of the screen should turn clockwise and the one on the right side of the screen should turn counter-clockwise.

  32. Take a look at the red lines on this picture. Which line is longer? Take a look at the red lines on this picture. Which line is longer?

  33. Do you see a young woman or an old woman?

  34. Is the blue line in the middle a perfect square? It actually is, it just appears to be slightly slanted.

  35. How many shelves to you see below? Are there 3 or 4?
