  1. SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR ROTC CADETS • NO COMMITMENT REQUIRED: • Foreign Language Scholarship (Mandarin). Maintain a 3.0 minimum GPA. Professor of Military Science approval required prior to course enrollment. = $1,000/semester • GPA of 3.0-4.0 = $500-$1,000/semester • APFT Score 270 (90,90,90)-300 = $500-$1,000/semester • Performance Based Scholarships (volunteer work) = $1,000/semester ($10,000/YEAR POTENTIAL) Additional $1,000/semester kicker for max performance on both • COMMITMENT REQUIRED: • 2, 3, 3.5 year Army Scholarships include Tuition and Fees or Room & Board. Also includes $1,200/year for texts books. • Monthly Contract Stipend = $300 (Freshman), $350 (Sophomore), $450 (Junior), $500 (Senior) • Guaranteed Reserve Forces Duty (GRFD) for National Guard and Reserve members = Tuition or Room & Board are covered. • Federal Tuition Assistance for Guard/Reserve members = up to $4,500/year. • TX Guard member State Reimbursement = Up to $4,000/year.
