  8. Understand the type of interview as it may range from technical and psychometric tests to general ‘discursive’ interviews and competency based interviews • Be aware of company background or history and the specific divisions of the organisation

Show interest, resourcefulness and commitment • Obtain information on the interviewer - the specific format of interview he follows or the favourite questions he may ask • Have some questions to ask your interviewer as well • Dress properly as per the occasion - formal business attire is suitable and a minimum requirement
