  1. NEWS LETTER Vol. 1:1 01 September 2012 Iowa National Guard Officers Association President’s Message Dear INGOA Members & Friends, I would like to take this opportunity to announce that INGOA has developed a monthly newsletter to expedite information flow to our members in a concise and easy to read manner. We know members are busy so we will focus on just a few hot topics from the legislative and membership arenas and often highlight some of our initiatives and accomplishments. We want you as members to have access to information in a timely manner so that you can act onthe emerging issues. We want to empower you with legislative alerts to affect change and to advise you on how INGOA is tackling various challenges for its members. In such challenging times, I see INGOA as an incredible partner fighting for positive legislative action and providing development opportunities for Jr.Commissioned and Warrant Officers. Now is a critical time for mentorship of junior officers and involvement in an association that fights so hard for service members, retirees, and families. Thanks for your commitment and support!
