  2. INTRODUCTION • The process of job placement is not as simple as picking candidate names from a hat and assigning them to a specific client. • Your recruiting department needs to assess an individual applicant's qualifications to determine if he or she is compatible with company needs and any regulatory limits to open positions.

  3. Recruiters and interviewers determine the potential of candidates for long-term success by meeting with each applicant in person. • All of these tasks are made easier through the use of this software.

  4. WHY THIS PROJECT ? • Candidates who are seeking for the job, sometimes they are not getting the proper job as per their requirement and experience. • They are even not fully satisfied from the job portals also. So we are developing one project for Consultant agencies ,which can help the candidates to find the job as per their convenience and as well as to the agencies to make their work easy and more effective.

  5. FEATURES • Separate modules for candidates, recruiters and administrator . • Notification for all your current vacancies:- • Candidates will get the notification for all the vacancies in a company. • Message facility to clients to directly through software :- • Clients will get the necessary information through the software itself.

  6. Advanced resume search engine using keywords, skills, location, education etc.:- • Based on the keywords like salary, city, education etc., resume will be sorted out. • Mass email option to notify your candidate pool on new vacancies etc. • Track Recruitment Progress:- • Software will keep the record of the recruitment progress that how many Candidates selected on which criteria

  7. Authority restriction:- • Only administrator can do the manipulations. • Quick updating facility for candidate's resume and client's current requirements. • Automatic backup facility:- • Record maintenance and updating will be done automatically.

  8. Payment record is maintained:- • Payment record of the candidate after their selection is maintained that who has paid the amount and who are left to pay. • Candidate Ranking:- • Match your candidates to the right jobs in seconds with our instant candidate ranking and auto-match feature.

  9. Job Order Management:- • Keep track of all job orders with one easy to use dashboard. Track all submissions, placements, trends and more. • Instant contact facility with candidate:- • Contact with the candidate through messages and mails.

  10. PURPOSE OF PROJECT • This application will be used in all the agencies where candidates are getting jobs through the consultants and consultants are having contract with the companies. • Any system having this type of environment can use this software. • Consultant agencies will be benefitted by using this software as it will save time.

  11. SHODH YATRA FOR IDP • We aimed to develop a software in .Net and so we went to the companies which can provide us such definitions. • We search many companies for IDP. • But they were giving paid training or there were companies not providing any training facility. • At last we get the company KEVALAM SOFTWARE.

  12. TECHNOLOGY AND WHY THIS TECHNOLOGY • We choose front-end tool as c#.net and back-end tool as Microsoft SQL server 2005 because the company works on .Net and requirement of the company is to build the software on these technologies. • The features of the technologies are :- • Front-end : c#.net 1.C# is a modern, type safe programming language, object oriented language that enables programmers to quickly and easily build solutions for the Microsoft .NET platform.

  13. C# is a simple, modern, object oriented language derived from C++ and Java.  • It aims to combine the high productivity of Visual Basic and the raw power of C++, better event management using delegates. • .NET includes a Common Execution engine and a rich class library.  5. We may develop Console application, Windows application, and Web application using C#.  6. In C# Microsoft has taken care of C++ problems such as Memory management, pointers etc.

  14. Unsafe operations such as direct memory manipulation are not allowed. Since it`s on .NET, it inherits the features of automatic memory management and garbage collection. • C# supports Data Encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism, interfaces.  • In C#, we cannot perform unsafe casts like convert double to a Boolean.

  15. Back-end : Microsoft SQL server 2005 • T-SQL (Transaction SQL) enhancements • CLR integration • Data encryption • Database Mail • Database copy for backup • DDL triggers

  16. SRS (System Requirement Specification) • Software characteristics

  17. Hardware characteristics

  18. User constraints • Candidates who want to join the agencies have to contact first time for the registration (either they have to go there or registered themselves by telephone contact.) • Recruiters who want to contract with the agencies either need to communicate through telephone contact or their agent need to come at agencies for contract dealing and registration of their company

  30. Flow of project

  31. Project Feasibility • Operational feasibility • On studying the operational feasibility of the project, the following conclusion could be derived: • It will provide advantageous and reliable services. • If it can be installed within suitable environment, system will do operation under environment of limited resources. Thus, it is operational feasible to develop the propose system. • Technical feasibility • Here we have preferred .NET with C# language, SQL Server 2005 back end database. • We are familiar with these current technologies

  32. .NET with C# language, SQL Server 2005 is one of the best combination for making Desktop application. • All these software are easily available. So, the project is technically feasible. • Economical feasibility • As development tools and software are free of cost, there is not any burden of buying system. • The organization does not having same system, so it is certainly required for them. • The profit will be certainly more than before because more placements for candidate will be there than before by clients.
