  3. Welcome Speech (Committee) Let me first extend a warm and cordial “selamat datang”(welcome) to all delegates attending this local/national/international seminar on English Education. It is intended a great honour for State University of Makassar to host such an important seminar

  4. Delivering Speech (Continued) * It is intended a great pleasure for me to welcome you all to State University of Makassar. We all gather here because we have the same concern, the same intention, the same objective; and we want to have the same perception, so that we can work together, share experience, and help each other to bring our institution to be the world class university.

  5. Welcome Speech (Continued) * May I take this opportunity to welcome on the behalf of State University of Makassar all the seminar participants. The objective of this seminar is a very laudable as it is meant to promote more cooperative work in science and technology development

  6. Opening Address It is indeed a great honour for me to be among the participants from outstanding universities of Indonesia. And let me first of all welcome you all to State University of Makassar ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

  7. Opening Address (continued) I have no doubt that deliberations on such issues will be dealt in great depth during the one-day seminar. Therefore, as the dean of Faculty of Languages and Literature, UNM, I wish this seminar every success. And in the name of Allah, the Beneficent and the Merciful, I declare this seminar open. Thank you.

  8. Closing Remarks I feel deeply honoured to be among the distinguished scholars today. I know that you have been all seriously involved in the one day-seminar on Education Legal Entity. I’m very pleased to be informed by the chairman of the committee that the seminar has been characterized by the sharing and exchanges of expertise experiences and ideas. I hope our efforts do not terminate at this point, but may what we have agreed upon today will bring us again to sit together in the near future. Thank You.
