  1. Photography Take your own photos • Make sure the camera is charged and there is a SD card • Sign out the camera • Go to event and take many diverse photos • Make sure you get the ws and h for the caption • Have a back-up plan • Upload photos immediately • Sign in the camera

Photography • Is close enough • Has a center of interest • Has faces (if shooting people) • Shows action and /or emotion (if shooting people) • Follows the rule of thirds • Uses a photo technique • Has nothing distracting in the background • Is not too dark or blurry • Tells a story • Is not staged

Insert your SD Card into the computer • If the computer doesn’t read it, you may need to plug the camera into the computer • Create a folder called “your topic” in the correct page’s folder • Drag photos to the folder • Unplug card from the computer • If you have an SD Card, return it to the camera • Make sure to check back in the camera
