Light the Night: Taking Steps to Cure Cancer • Funds raised by teams and individual walkers provide: • Lifesaving blood cancer research • Assistance programs and events for patients and their families • Advocacy efforts that draw government attention to cancer-related issues • Local programs such as Family Support Groups and First Connection, a peer-to-peer counseling program

Why Walk? • It's inspirational: You'll be helping hundreds of thousands of Americans battling leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. • It's a chance to do something good in your community: Funds provide support for researchers who are working to cure blood cancers as well as valuable information for blood cancer patients and families
