  4. MECC CQUINs 2012/13 • Two acute trusts (£155K) • Mental health trust (£143.6K) • Community trust (£99.9K) • Healthy Lifestyle Provider (£22.5K) Total investment in CQUIN £421K

  5. Outcomes from MECC by Q3 • People trained F2F - 71 • People trained online - 38 • Stop Smoking referrals - 1513 • Alcohol Service referrals - 62 • Adult Weight Management referrals – 43 In total 1727 recorded outcomes to date

  6. Have the CQUINS been cost effective? • Outlay to date £315,750 • People trained 109 • Number of referrals to Healthy Lifestyle Services 1618 • A lot of money for referrals and training (cost per outcome to date £183) • Ongoing outcomes and for how long?

  7. Referral routes – electronic or paper • Permanent change in staff attitude • Feedback route from lifestyle providers • Contract changes ongoing • Full outcome not clear until end of Q4 What will be left behind?
