  3. The Rocks The Rocks is situated in Sydney’s city centre on the western side of Circular Quay, and was the area of the first European settlement in 1788. The Rocks also features a fabulous market on the weekend, as well as hire live music at various venues around The Rocks. There are also a full range of stalls offering unique wonderful gifts, as well as delicious food stalls and much more. There are a number of walking tours around the area, including an interesting historical walking tour of The Rocks.

  4. Parliament House Parliament House in Sydney is a complex of buildings housing the Parliament of NSW. It is located on Macquarie Street in Sydney. The north wing was originally the Chief Surgeon's quarters, although at one point it was used as law courts. The incomplete building was first used for the official opening of the new parliament on 22nd May 1856.

  5. Sydney Harbour Bridge • The Sydney Harbour Bridge, also affectionately known as the ‘Coathanger', was opened on March 19th 1932 by Premier Jack Lang, after six years of construction. Made of steel the bridge contains 6 million hand driven rivets. The surface area that requires painting is equal to about the surface area of 60 sports fields.

  6. Taronga Zoo • Taronga Zoo is the nation's leading zoological garden, featuring Australia's finest collection of native animals and a diverse collection of exotic species.Taronga Zoo is home to over 2,600 animals on 21 hectares, making it one of the largest of its kind.

  7. Opera House • Sydney Opera House is a masterpiece of late modern architecture. In its short lifetime, Sydney Opera House has earned a reputation as a world-class performing arts centre and become a symbol of both Sydney and the Australian nation.

  8. Mr Greg Piper Mr Greg Piper is the mayor as well as an Independent member for Lake Macquarie. Mr Piper was born on the 31of August 1957.He was born at Coffs Harbour in N.S.W and is a member of the new south Wales Legislative Assembly.

  9. Hyde Park Barracks • Hyde Park Barracks was a significant brick building and compound designed by convict architect Francis Greenway between 1818-19 originally built at the head of Macquarie street1819 to house convict men and boys.
