He moved to New York with his wife Abby Raines in order to pursue a more traditional writing career and sign with a publishing house. After revising over and over until his work was perfect, Daryl submitted his novel to many publishing houses in New York. Rejection after rejection lead Daryl to online self-publishing though Amazon Kindle.
