Districts form the largest built-up area<br>Dubai Vacancies of Expo 2020 Dubaiu2019s petal-shaped Thematic Districts are now completed, welcoming the world to UAE for 173 days of creativity and innovation.<br>More than 100 million working hours have contributed to developing the site. Dubai Municipality has provided the final building completion certificate with all the construction in progress for Expo to be completed in the year before gates open.<br>The districts are built by the UAEu2019s Al Futtaim Construction. Water and shading features are already being installed. The districts are now ready for fit out. It comprises of the huge built-up area of the site and includes about 86 low-rise buildings with dedicated leisure areas, food and beverage outlets, retail, performance spaces.

Daily News in Dubai | GEMS Education Schools Kindness Programmes During Ramadan Inspired from the Year of Tolerance, GEMS Education schools organize Ramadan activities for those in need GEMS Education introduces ‘Jewels of Kindness’, a social responsibility program in a way to raise and develop interpersonal qualities.

  2. GEMS Education is hosting a range of activities and performances celebrating the year of tolerance across its network of schools. Students from GEMS have developed a digital tolerance meter called ‘Toler-O-Meter’ which was recently presented at IMG World of Adventure. The meter tracks and measures the student and tolerance levels on a scale of one to five where one is least tolerant and five is most tolerant. This data is assessed by the school to know how happy the classes are. In order to promote innovation and help in overall school improvement, the school actively takes part in KHDA’s program ‘What works’ which uses the latest in thinking and research. Brendan Law, Senior Vice President of Education said: “The various activities organized in Ramadan, Media Marketing Dubai reflecting the values promoted by the ‘Year ofTolerance’ aim to instill a culture of kindness and compassion among our students. The success of these activities also owe to the cooperation and support of parents, teachers and our support staff, who encourage our students to do good deeds that make a positive difference in the lives of others.” Jobs in Dubai American Academy, GEMS Wellington Primary School, and GEMS Metropole School have set up Ramadan Charity Fridge. The teachers and students regularly add to the food and distribute it to the workers. Moreover, GEMS Metropole parent council is offering superior care packages with the help of donations from parents for its drivers, cleaners, and security. During this holy month of Ramadan, the act of tolerance has been put forward in the form of theatrical productions. GEMS Modern Academy held a play titled as ‘I am Zara Amaya’, the story of a young girl who faces obstacles and battles all the challenges that come in her way and emerges as a strong and fearless character. The show was put together in three days and bought together of 350 students from grades ranging from 3 to 12 in a splendid performance with the combination of acting and poetry. GEMS Heritage School had joined with Dubai Health Authority’s blood donation centre and held a blood donation campaign in school so that each unit of blood can contribute in saving 3-4 lives. GEMS Cambridge International School, GEMS Wellington Primary School and GEMS Royal School Dubai are providing care boxes that are given by Red Crescent Charity to serve the needy people throughout the entire month of Ramadan. Parents and children can donate anything from clothes, toiletries and food.

  3. Daily News in Dubai does not stop here, GEMS Westminster School Ras Al Khaimah has created the unique ‘Ramadan Food Basket’ which is also a charity initiative where the donated items are gathered and distributed to various charity associations across Ras Al Khaimah.
