  4. OELMA Midwinter Conference • Paula says, keep two things in mind: • This is still an LEA decision to use or not to use this in any way. This is just a model that could be adopted/suggested. • Midwinter on March 9th will have this as a focus. Many suggestions were made for revisions and much discussion is expected on the 9th. District-level iCoach Proposal • INFOhio is looking for energetic individuals employed within Ohio school districts to enrich and support the teaching and learning of INFOhio resources while strengthening the technology skills of students, teachers and staff. • Nomination Process: Interested individuals will be nominated by their ITC Provider with a letter of recommendation speaking to the individuals knowledge and application of INFOhio’s tools and resources with teachers, students and parents. District-level iCoach Proposal Preferred Qualifications: • Current teaching license and library media experience preferred as well as experience with effective technology teaching strategies. • Understanding of key learning theories and methods of instruction, and their relation to technology integration. • Strong oral and written communication skills. Symphony 3.4.1 Service Pack 3 • OCLC altering their numbering effective July 1 (handout from OCLC) – Patch required • Will impact processing of records from WorldCat (via SmartPort) • Also impact vendor loads when vendors provide records from OCLC • SirsiDynix to release SP3 in spring / early summer • INFOhio will apply SP3 to all ITCs in June, but will coordinate with providers • Will require update to WorkFlows NEOMIN Library User Group Meeting – 3/12/2013 @ 1:00 PM
