  2. Thursday 19th June 14 • 05:00: Meet at school with luggage. • 05:15: Bus to Glasgow Airport. • 07:25 Flight to Barcelona (Jet2) • Flight number: LS149 • 11:35: Arrive Barcelona Airport. • 12:30 Airport transfer to hotel NovoPark (Tossa de Mar). • 14:30 Approximate arrival at hotel. • Pupils will have the afternoon at their leisure to explore the town or relax by the pool /go to the beach (staff assisted). • 19:30 Flamenco show at hotel- evening meal of tapas and non-alcoholic Sangria included.

  3. BAGGAGE! . Pupils responsible for their own luggage Hold luggage – 20kilos max Jet 2 charge £15 for every kilo over . Hand luggage – 8 kilos max, dimensions 56cm x 45cm x 25cm No liquids over 100ml in hand luggage!

Friday 21st June BARCELONA! • Breakfast at hotel (pick up packed lunch) • 09:00 Coach Pick up. • 10:30 Arrive in Barcelona. • Day in Barcelona including Nou Camp Experience and Sagrada Familia (walking shoes please). • 18:30 Evening meal at Hard Rock Café, Barcelona. • 20:00 Coach pick up. • 21:30 Approx arrival time at hotel.

  5. Saturday 21st June • Breakfast at hotel (pick up packed lunch) • 09:00 Coach pick up • Day in Girona • 16:00 Coach pick up • 17:00 Approx arrival time at hotel • Vigil Mass • 19:30 Evening meal at hotel • 21:00-22:30 Disco at hotel

  6. Sunday 22nd June PORTAVENTURA! • Breakfast at hotel (pick up packed lunch) • 08:00 Coach pick up • 10:30 Approx arrival time • Day at Port Aventura • 17:00 Coach pick up • 19:30 Approx arrival time back at hotel • 20:00 Evening meal at hotel

  7. Monday 23rdJune • Breakfast at hotel (pick up packed lunch) • Day at leisure • 19:30 Tapas evening at L´Ajustada

Tuesday 24th June • Breakfast at hotel (pick up packed lunch) • 07:00 Check out of hotel • 07:30 Coach pick up • 09:30 Airport arrival • Flight to Glasgow 12:20 Flight number: LS150 • Arrival Glasgow airport 14:05 • Bus back to school 14:30 approx arrival time 15:15. Pupils can wait in school until the end of the school day.

  9. Insurance • Provided by EDC • Underwritten by Equity Travel • Extra caution of European Health card (hand this in to group leader along with passport/ medicines by Friday 13th June)

  10. Included in cost • All accommodation, excursions and meals in Spain (breakfast, lunch & evening meal)

  11. Not included in cost • Food and drink for journey • All drinks in Spain

  12. Pocket Money • Will be kept by group leaders and issued on a daily basis • Recommended amount 15-20euros a day (for drinks and gifts)

  13. Important • You will be divided into groups of 6 or 7 with 1 leader responsible for each group. • Seatbelts must be worn at all times on plane and buses. • Excellent behaviour is required for the safety of each individual (coach, plane and in Spain).

  14. Code of conduct • The pupils are representing the school and as such it is important they exhibit exemplary behaviour. • Alcohol is prohibited. Any pupil to be found with or under the influence will face serious consequences (ban from other trips or even expulsion home).

  15. Swimming • The hotel will have a lifeguard on duty at specific times and pupils are welcome to use the hotel pool at this time (provided they have completed the swimming consent form). • Pupils have the opportunity to visit the beach (staff assisted). They are covered by Equity travel insurance to swim in the sea.

  16. Medicines • Any child who carries an inhaler or epipen must give a spare to Mrs Bewick several days before departure. This must be clearly labelled with the child’s name. These children must also carry their own inhaler / epipen. If an epipen is required on the flight, the pupil must provide a letter from their doctor stating this. Pupils with a medical condition must ensure they bring the correct medication/dosage (see medical consent form).

  17. Rooms in hotel • The hotel advises us of rooming 2 weeks before departure • Where possible you will be accommodated with friends. • Curfews and wake up times will be strictly adhered to in order to make best use of our time in Spain. These may change slightly on a day by day basis to accommodate our schedule.

  18. Final advice • Remember sun cream (average temperature is 27 degrees)a hat and suitable shoes for walking. Travel pills? • Remember meeting points and times. • Speak as much Spanish as possible! • Enjoy the experience!
