Implementation • Java6 • Open source (LGPLv3) • Common OntologyService interface on top of BioPortal, OLS, and OWL API • Added value: • Easy access to additional annotations: symptoms, definitions • Local caching and ranking of ontology sources • Support for Simple Knowledge Organization System (SKOS) properties
