Are customers directed in a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction inside the store? • There are two entrances to target so you can either go in through the entrance by the electronics and go counter-clockwise or you can go in through the entrance by the produce and go clockwise. • There isn’t any parking lot media.

  3. What type of media is on the windows to entice customers? • The Target Credit and Debit Card

  4. What companies is this store actively involved in cross-promotions with? • Starbucks • Pizza Hut

  20. Store’s Layout • The “necessities” (aka milk, meat, etc.) were on the walls of the store. • That way you have to walk around most of the store just to get the basic items. • They’re hoping that on the way you get distracted by the aisles in the middle with all the junk food or sodas.

  22. Are there ads on the receipt? No • Background music playing for the shoppers? No. • Are there ads in the shopping cart? No.

  23. Are there any interesting displays? • They have a whole lot of Halloween displays and decorations. • They also sell Halloween costumes. • Candy displays all over the store.

  24. What type of non-food grocery store items are there? • Super Target has basically everything. • They sell shoes, jewelry, school supplies, clothes, movies, cameras, iPods – technology products, tv’s.

  25. Store-produced social media • Target has a Facebook page. • Target has a Twitter where they answer customers questions.
