  2. Habitat • Coyotes live in semi open brushy country • Because certain coyotes develop a habitat of damaging livestock

  3. Appearance • Coyote look very much like dogs, in particular. • The upperparts are light gray or dall yellow, with black outer hairs. • The back, of the ears are redish. • The top of the tail is colored like the animals back,

  4. Diet • Rabbits and mice make up almost two-thirds of the coyote diet, with other animals foods and plants such as persimmons. • Coyote eat carrion as well as prey they kill themselves.

  5. Fun Facts • Total length; 39-54 inches; tail length weight : 18-30 pounds. • Coyotes are generally increasing throughout the state.
