  2. INTRODUCTION Muslims : 1/5 population of the world. JAPAN + USA + Western Europe = Muslims But still, we are the richest fools among all!

  3. 1973 – Arab increase the price of oil, • Western countries are effected. Got the wealth but are easily manipulated by Western Now, we are standing useless with the title of Khalifah? If we want the knowledge, why we don’t just follow the Western?

  4. DEFINITION The term “Islamization of knowledge” means taking part in intellectual pursuits, by examination, summarization, correlation, and publication, from the perspective of an Islamic outlook on life, humankind and the universe. When placed in such a setting, Islamization becomes harmonious and logically consistent, all knowledge outside this framework is seen to be in conflict with the laws of nature and reality. The term Islamization of knowledge” means to examine, summarize, correlate, and publicize the intellectual pursuits of life, humankind and the universe in the perspective of an Islamic outlook.

The educational establishment level • textbook on methodology for university students. • pave the way for the next and more ambitious step of Islamizing all the branches of knowledge studied at university level. • create modified Muslim mentality and psychology - to acquire higher capabilities in all other fields.

  12. FIELDS/ REALMS Islamic and Revealed Knowledge AIM : To guide our life SOURCE : Al-Quran and Sunnah DEDUCTION : Needn’t to be Islamize anymore REMARKS : emphasize more on implementation of the Syari’ah

  13. Human and Social Sciences AIM: To regulate human sociology SOURCE : Western culture (through globalization) DEDUCTION :Need to be Islamize REMARKS : Return to Islamic principle

  14. Natural and Pure Sciences AIM : To study the nature SOURCE : Nature (Western perspective of physical world) DEDUCTION : Need to be Islamize REMARKS : Assimilate Islamic values in the scientific methodology
