  2. Point • The point of your paragraph is your main claim. It is usually the answer to the question or prompt.

  3. Link • The link is background information that connects your point and evidence.

  4. Evidence • The evidence is a specific example from the text or another source (quote, summary, etc.) that supports your point. You must cite your evidence using the following format: (Author’s Last Name pg #).

  5. Analysis • The analysis is your explanation of your evidence and its relationship to your point. Explain how your evidence proves your point.

  6. PLEA Practice • As a class, use a leveled question from the Pixar video to write a PLEA paragraph.

  7. PLEA Practice • Now, use the “Amigo Brothers” leveled questions to write your own PLEA paragraph.
