  2. Football history 1) Choose a FIFA world cup competition when was it and where was it? It was held in 1990 in Italy,Rome. It was the 14th staging for the FIFA world cup. It was held in 8th June to 8th July. It was a old match. 2) Who were the finalists who won include score? The final was between West Germany and Argentina. They scored (1-0).West Germany won and Argentina lost. Argentina was the first group to fail the FIFA world final. 3a) What was the scoring sequence and who scored? It was only one goal and was a penalty goal.Andreas Brehme scored the penalty shot. It was a penalty goal it was only (1-0) and they were lucky.

  3. Football History continued 3b) choose 1 of the goals and describe using football Terminology the sequence of play of leading up to the goal? It was a penalty kick because Argentina made a mistake and then it was a penalty goal for West Germany. It was a kick taken from Andreas Brehme to the goalie. 3c) What could the defense have done to more effectively try and stop the goal being scored? Since it was a penalty goal there is no defense involvement because of the panelty. They could not stop the goal being scored. There is no group involvement in this kick. 3d) Using the same scoring sequence what individual skills have been used by the attacking team? Like I said on the other question there was no attacking involved. The Argentina were intense and they were under pressure when they saw the other group have a penalty goal.

  4. Football history continued 3e) Was there any movement ‘off the ball’ by other attackers to draw defenders away from the goal scorer? If yes what happened and what was the effect of this? There is no off the ball movement because it was just a penalty they could not do that movement. The two teams were under a lot of load and they were so frustrated.
