  2. Directions • Read your assigned section. • Answer the following questions and prepare a presentation of your answers for the class. • Have a handout of your presentation for the class. • Construct a Paper 1 Assessment for your topic area(see PS1, p. 76).

Questions to Consider • What are the major problems/issues facing your country? • Who are the major people or groups involved? • Identify the key events in the formation process of your new nation. • How do the major powers (US, GB, F) view your nation? • What were the ultimate outcomes (i.e. the treaty terms) for your nation?
