  3. Heb. 11:4 “By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.” Though dead Abel still speaks to us today by lessons we learn...

  4. God will Avenge God will avenge injustices “And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.” Gen. 4:10

  5. “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” Punishment Retribution Rom. 12:19

  8. 11 For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, 12 not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother's righteous. 13 Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you. 1Jn.3:11-13

  11. "If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.” John 15:18 All who walk with God must realize that the world which knows not God will hate them !

  12. It matters how we Worship God Worship of God is a restricted affair. Most today feel any kind or way of worship to God will be acceptable.

  13. “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” Jn. 4:24 “And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.” Mk. 7:7

  14. “24. God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; 25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; Acts 17:24-25

  15. “Now these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes; that in us ye might learn not to go beyond the things which are written; that no one of you be puffed up for the one against the other.” 1 Cor. 4:6 ASV

  16. Why was God pleased with Abel and not Cain ?? Abel did what God commanded Cain did what he wanted to do Heb. 11:4 Rom. 10:17

  17. Cain was the first false worshiper …if God wants smoke …if God wants value …who likes all that messy blood? …it’s the spirit of the thing The blood of Abel cries out that It does make a difference !!!

  18. Faith is Key to Acceptable Worship • “By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain.” Heb. 11:4 • God commanded a lamb • Type of that final atonement

  19. “We must walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Cor. 5:7 “There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.” Prov. 14:12 We cannot follow the majority – Matt. 7:13-14 Walk by Faith = Hear the word of God and Keep it !

  20. Righteousness is Obeying “Righteousness of God”Rom.1:16-17 “all your commandments are truth” Ps. 119:151 “it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness” Matt. 3:15-16

  21. “And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.” Luke 1:6 Zacharias Elisabeth Righteous because They obeyed God !

  22. “For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.” Rom.10:3 “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” Luke 6:46

  23. The Blood of Abel Speaks God will avenge every evil Righteous are hated without cause One way to Worship God That is the way of Faith Righteousness is Obeying God

  24. The Blood of Abel Speaks OBEDIENCE brought approval to Abel and it will do the same for us. HE SPEAKS TODAY: by encouraging us to obey God’s will exactly as commanded !
