Saksham -Reflections It was one of the best learning experiences of my life. I think Office 365 will add more power to the administrative activities of my Office. Saksham–Reflections Faculties found that the use of Office 365 will definitely make their working environment smooth as it facilitates collaboration among colleagues and it is wonderful to be connected with their colleagues 24X7 all the 365 days of the year. The feature of converting word file into PDF files was also wonderful as now they didn’t need a separate software to do so LCDS provided a way to digitization of content and it empowered teachers for hassle free content handling and updation, participants have expressed desire to develop their E-learning courses and wuse it on their web domains.
Sound Bytes Since 21st century world is moving at its fastest speed, we as individual also need to keep up the pace faster than ever. Darwin gave the concept of “survival of the fittest” and to justify the Darwin’s theory every person as individual as well as group needs resources to survive in this world which is teeming with the advanced and innovative technologies. We as teacher educators find this advancement as a bliss to education. No one is same as another; individual differences persist in each and every situation we face in our life. In order to ensure the compatibility with this fast blooming life of human beings, the responsibility of a teacher increases. Every student is different, and every child is special. And it is very pleasing to know that IT sector is trying to benefit all types of human beings to as to ensure a uniform pattern of growth by creating a paradigm shift in the process of education. In this direction, the Window accessibility center is featured with the tools which are quick to access especially for learners with special needs. The tools like magnifier, narrator, on screen key board, setting up high contrast under Accessibility features of Windows, can prove beneficial to those who generally lag behind the general population when it comes to the application of innovation in the field of information technology. Those who are differently able can get themselves in position of equally abled. It was fascinating to know that we can be connected throughout, with our College through MS Office 365 throws an insight as to how we can collaborate, co-ordinate and share with our coworkers. Tools like LCDS, Maths 4.0, WWT, Songsmith, AutoCollage, photostory etc will enhance our teaching capabilities Thanks to the Microsoft team, which has provided us such fascinating and exciting tools which we can be effectively used in making the teaching learning process effective, interactive and at the same time interesting. We feel ourselves really blessed that we got this opportunity to attend this training programme and learn about IT and MS Software in such an extended form and also we got a chance to explore and realize the soft skills present already in us. Thanks to MrAshutosh and Ms Monika for explaining and demonstrating the things in such a simple way that we are now able to project these skills in our instructions. DrAlkaArora Asstt.
