  4. MODELO 0

  5. Locaciones: Las locaciones representan lugares fijos en el sistema donde las entidades se envían para proceso, almacén o alguna otra actividad o toma de decisiones.

  6. Entidades: Cualquier cosa que procesa el modelo se le llama “entidad”. Algunos ejemplos incluyen piezas, productos, personas o documentos.

  7. Llegadas: Cada vez que entran nuevas entidades al sistema, se llama llegada.

  8. F12 grabará el modelo (podemos darle un nombre de hasta ocho caracteres) y F10 ejecutará el modelo. Del menú Simulation se puede escoger Run (Grabar) o Save and Run (Grabar y Ejecutar). Bajo el menú Simulation en Options, aparece la ventana de diálogo arriba mostrada. El número de horas de ejecución puede especificarse en el campo de Run Hours (Horas de ejecución), así como la precisión del reloj.
