Resident and Non-Resident Applications • New resident (in-district) applications due by April 15—after this date, new resident applications routed to Student Services • No deadline for non-resident (out-of-district) applications • Potential denials sent to Student Services before final determination • Appeals based on special or extenuating circumstances (for denials based on capacity or capped enrollment)

  3. Transportation for Open Enrolled Students • Designated school as pick-up point (resident and non-resident) • Students shuttled to and from designated school to open enrollment site • Minimal cost—only will require personnel to monitor students for pick-up and drop-off • Transportation provided for students in special education whose IEP states the necessity

  4. Duration of Open Enrollment Status • Resident and non-resident applications approved for one school year • Applications submitted each year • Students expelled, on long-term suspension or extended abeyance shall not be approved for open enrollment. Acceptance for enrollment may be revoked upon finding the existence of any of these circumstances
