IntelliBadge SC2002 Trial • Conference participants carry RFID tags • Conference floor is equipped with RFID signposts and readers • Signposts are setup at the entry doors to presentation rooms • Readers are setup to provide a complete coverage for the entire convention center • Data from the tags is stored in the database along with the data about the participants, conference program, etc. • The database is the used to provide various real-time services: • Participants location tracking • Conference events attendance • Conference at-a-glance overview of conference activities • Interactive applications • Mileage tracking
