  8. To be honest and totally truthful, I didn’t like this project. I did not really learn anything from it. It was really tiring to have to carry my flour baby (Danny) around on top of my backpack and my textbooks. It started getting heavy after a while. Since the teacher told us that this Flour Baby project was worth a lot of points of my grade, I was a bit paranoid. I was really scared of dropping it and of other people holding it. It was just a really stressful thing to have. I have activities after school and because of this I had to look for someone who would watch Danny for a while. This was not easy, no one could babysit him. Finally I decided to beg my sister to hold it while I was busy, and so she did. Putting this baby book together was not something I loved either. It got really complicated when trying to get all of the pictures I took with y cell phone, to the PowerPoint presentation. Doing this takes a lot of time and I went to bed really late decorating the Baby book. The pictures are blurry, and not really pretty, and turning in with the images kind of sloppy does not make me feel good. I know a baby is a big responsibility and I know that it needs a lot of time. This is why, I will probably have a baby when I am ready. I actually think that teenagers, who get pregnant, ruin their future and their whole lives by having a baby. Personally I believe in adoption rather than abortion. This project was really tiring for me, and I bet it was horrible for other too. Waking up at 3:00 A.M. was the stupidest thing EVER! I was so sleepy the next day. I also disliked this project because a lot of older classmen, for example tenth graders, laughed at the fact that we, ninth graders, were carrying flour bags with faces everywhere at all times. It was a little embarrassing to walk by upper classmen while having the babies in our hands. After a while I got used to Danny (my flour baby), and everyone else got used to seeing freshmen with babies everywhere. I sincerely wish luck to next semester’s health students. I absolutely hated this project. I hope Danny does not get angry at me because of saying this.
