  4. Background • Ageing population in Europe puts on test the health care system • There is shortage of nurses and care- workers • Training courses are needed to maintain professionalism • E-learning environment helps to save time and gives opportunity to learn on work-place

  5. Main aim • the transfer, adaptation and development of a competence-based educational e-learning framework for nurses and care- workersand during this activities train the teachers to create contemporary e-learning training programs

  6. Basic fields: • Basics of nursing and care • Nursing and care of chronically ill • Geriatric and palliative nursing and care • Continuing training courses
