Proposed Season Parameter Modifications • Eliminate the Horicon Goose Management Zone • Increase the Regular Canada Goose Season daily bag limit from 2 to 3 • Include a second split (season closure) in the South Zone Regular Canada Goose Season to allow the season to include the Christmas and New Years Holidays. • South Zone Canada Goose Season – Sept. 16 – Oct. 7 (5 day split) reopen Oct. 13 – Dec. 2 (13 day split) reopen Dec. 16 – Jan. 3 • Consistent statewide opening date of Sept. 29th • Early teal season shooting hours extended to sunrise to sunset. • Increase the pintail bag limit to 2 per day bag limit versus current 1 per day bag limit Agenda item: 2.B.1. – Taylor Finger, Migratory Game Bird Ecologist
