Population Statistics • Total Population: 6,952,000 • In 1960, the population was around 2 million, and since then it gradually increased with 4 million in 1980 and up to 6 million in 2010. • Growth Rate: 1.85% • In the year 2000, the growth rate in Tajikistan was around 2.15%, and it decreased drastically in the year 2007 to 1.9% and it didn’t change much by the year 2011 with 1.85%
