Malaria victims in the African Region Ella Swain
Information • Malaria is a deadly disease mosquito-borne, which is especially a problem in the African region. The country with the most cases of Malaria will get money that willgo to medicine and nurses to treat Malaria victims before they die, and the country’s population decreases. Malaria Cells in the middle, Normal cells around the outside
Botswanahas 61% of Malaria victims. Zimbabwe has 7% of their country with Malaria victims. Malawi has 31% of Malaria victims in their country. Chad has only 1% of their country with Malaria victims.
On this graph, the percent of each country is according to it’s population. Chad seems so much smaller than Botswana. How small? Well the population of Chad is way bigger than Botswana, so that means that Botswana has more cases. But what about Malawi and Zimbabwe? Is their populations bigger or smaller? How many cases does each country REALLY have?
Even though Botswana has less people and less Malaria cases than the other three countries, Botswana has more of a problem. Botswana has over half of the population with malaria.
