After Login you will see this screen called Dashboard

1. Go to login page by either clicking the link in your email or from below link:http://watfordchessclub.com/wp-login.phpEnter your login detail: Username will be your email adressand if you have forgotten your password, please click on the forget password link to get a new password by email

2. After Login you will see this screen called Dashboard • You can see ur name on right hand side of the screen • Area on the left is the areas you can manage yourself • The area at the bottom is view area to see the latest activity • Lets go to next page

3. From the panel on the left hand side you can manage the following things • Posts (you can create and manage posts from here. The posts will be live on the website after creating and publishing) • Media (you can upload the media I,e pictures, videos etc. same you can only manage your media articles from here) • Comments ( you can mange your comments on someone’s post and can see here and mange.) • Games (Under construction and you will be able to manage your games from here and upload on website. For example your best achieved game of the year to share with the club members to learn from.) • Events (you can enter an event here and manage, if required. In future I wil use this to create like price cup rounds as events. Or if you like can add your events like simultaneous display at pub as event) • Contacts (mistake it should not be here. I will remove that) • Profile(you can mange your details from here. I would prefer and encourage everyone to keep this update as possible. specially if you change your email id, please update. You could change your password from here aswell) • Tools (It’s a tool to create shortcut and add to your bookmark. Handy when used, so give it a go) • SEO (you will never use this. I am having problem to remove this. But I will try. So, please ignore this) • E newsletter(from here you can manage your news letter subsription of the watford chess club news letter. If you disable it you will not receive any update from chess club website. So, I suggest leave the settings as it is.)

4. Posts • How to create and manage Posts • From panel below dashboard Click on posts and all posts. Here you can see all the post by its title, author, category, tags and date. Although You can see the posts of everyone, but you cannot edit anyone’s post. • See the screenshot below to see how to create your own post 1st click on add new

5. You have learned how to add post and there after you will be able to see your post and • manage your post from the post button on the left hand side menu. • Similarly you can mange all other items like media, etcetc • I will suggest you login and try and if you have any questions or queries and need help • please send me an email on either webmaster@watfordchessclub.com or • sanjay@numarketing.co.uk • Please note I will be possibly away from tommorrow for few weeks and will answer your • emails when I get some time. There could be a possible delay in answering your emails. • But don’t worry the website will not be effected, if you have done something wrong.
