  1. Shapes Discovering shapes in our every day life…

  2. …our earth I cropped the edges a little bit, I used the shadow tool to bring out the wording on the globe a bit more. Also using the sharpen tool helped to do that as well.

  3. …paintings and decorations I used the film grain effect and black and white to give the picture an “older” look. I also used the sharpen tool to help bring out the edges of the painting.

  4. …street lights I cropped out a lot of this picture to focus on the street light, I used the saturation tool to bring out the green colors in the picture. Sharpen helped to define the shape better. I used the auto contrast effect to bring out more definition.

  5. …in our cars I cropped out the steering wheel to focus on the speedometer. I decided to use the sepia effect to make the picture look a little different.

  6. …transportation I cropped the picture to give it a side effect, I used the auto contrast and saturation effects to give the tire better definition. I also used sharpen and warmer to enhance the look of the tire.

  7. I cropped the front half of the bike to focus more on the subject. I used the sepia effect to give it a different look. Sharpen and auto contrast helped bring out the spokes on the tires.

  8. …seasonal things I cropped the picture to start, I used the saturation tool to bring out more color with the pumpkins. Sharpen and shadow tools helped to bring out the designs in the pumpkin.

  9. …furniture I side cropped the picture, used the glow effect to bring out the pillow as well as using the shadow enhancer and highlight. It really brightened up the picture.

  10. …kitchen appliances I decided to use the black and white effect since the oven is black and white. I used the shadow tool to help define the colors. Sharpen brought out the other details. I highlighted and filled in the light just a little to bring out the picture.

  11. Even money has shape! I cropped around the edges to zoom closer on the subject, highlight and saturation tools brought out more color in the photo. I used the sharpen tool to define the bill and coins. Just a little of the shadow tool to bring out the darker colors.

  12. …measuring tools I cropped out the edges, I also used the touch up tool to remove the scratches and marks on the scale, I used the saturation tool to bring out the tiles and color. I filled in some of the light to make it lighter, highlight also to give the picture a brighter look.

  13. …storage I barely cropped the edges, I used the straighten tool to align. I also used the highlight and auto contrast to bring out the lockers. Sharpen to help define the edges of the lockers to show shape.

  14. …tiles I cropped the photo because it was a little too big, I took a chance and used the I’m feeling lucky tool…I liked how it turned out. All I added on was a little more of sharpen to bring out the tiles.

  15. …street signs I cropped the picture to show some contrast, I used the saturation tool to bring out the color red in the sign. I also used the glow effect.
