  2. A Biblical Mandate for Contextual Evangelism: For as I went through the city and looked carefully at the objects of your worship, I found among them an altar with the inscription, “To an unknown god.” What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you (Acts 17:23).

  7. Contextual Evangelism • Key Question: Is the form and content of evangelical outreach related to the needs of those you are trying to reach? • Healthy churches are characterized by the way they share the gospel, so that it is culturally relevant, respectful, and comprehensive in meeting the needs, utilizing the gifts, and addressing the life questions of the un-churched. • Unlike "manipulative programs” this "need-oriented/asset-based" approach uses appropriate ministries and authentic relationships to guide others into the life of the church and community. • Contextual Evangelism is always intensely relational!

  8. So WHO IS my Neighbor?

  9. You & Your Community… • Outward Focus…GO!… …And make Disciples • More than noses & numbers… • It’s about inviting people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ!
