  2. Communism • A political theory derived from karl marx advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and every person gets paid to their own claim. • There is no actual ownership on anything, actual ownership being ascribed to the community as a whole or to the state.

  3. Karl Marx's Communism Karl Marx is known as the father of communism (http://people.howstuffworks.com/communism2.htm) He belived a perfect society must be classless and stateless.(http://people.howstuffworks.com/communism2.htm)

  4. Lenin's Communism • Lenin did not want communism. • He believes war forced them into communism. • Lenin saw "war communism" as a temporary policy that must not be continued. • He wanted a new policy-we must recognize the need to grant concessions and purchase machinery and equipment to satisfy agriculture. This policy became known as the new economic policy or NEP.

  5. Marx vs. Lenin Karl Marx was the father of communism, and believed in a perfect society that was classless and stateless when Lenin was anti-communism and wanted NEP. Lenin wanted to grant concessions and purchase machines for agriculture.
