Cutting and Pasting Text • Move text from one location to another • This operation is called cut and paste • Cutting text places it on the Clipboard, a temporary storage area • System Clipboard- holds one item • Office Clipboard- holds up to 24 items • Cut text using the Cut button or the Cut command • Paste text using Paste button or the Paste command Editing Documents Unit B

  17. Finding and Replacing Text • Search for and replace all instances of a word or phrase in a document using the Find and Replace feature. • To replace words, you can: • Automatically find and replace all words or • Find and review each individual occurrence of a word Editing Documents Unit B
