Contact: Dr. Husson, shusson@clemson.edu Career Path Forecast • ChEs expected to have employment growth as fast as the average for all occupations through 2014 (US Dept. of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics) • Large growth in research and development, particularly in energy, biotechnology, nanotechnology (Sloan Career Cornerstone Center) • With regard to manufacturing industries, pharmaceuticals may have the best opportunities for ChEs (Sloan Career Cornerstone Center)
