  2. Extermination of Jews: • “Wannsee” Conference -Discuss the “Final Solution” (1941-1944) • Answer to the “Jewish question” • When Nazis rose to power • Initiative of Adolf Hitler • “Aryanization” • “Night of broken glass” • Beginning of WWII

  3. “Aryanization:”(1993-1998) • Hitler wanted to maintain racial purity • Sub-humans: Slavs, gypsies, homosexuals, mentally ill, disabled • Excluded Jews from economic sphere -took control of businesses

  4. Rejection: • Jews became a were unwanted in not just Germany, but all of Europe • Created ghettos in Poland • Germany forced immigration of Jews • Other countries sent them straight back

  5. Process: • All of Jews were hauled up • ASSASINATION: -Shot with guns--> put bodies in pits -Death camps -Died from starvation in concentration camps -Gas chambers--> thrown into crematoriums and burned -Poisoned by cyanide gas

  6. In The End…: • About 6 million Jews were murdered. (2/3 of Europe) • Hitler’s answer for the “Jewish Problem” was successful.
