  2. Habitat • Polar bears live in the arctic .the arctic is a very cold . Snowy and windy region around the north pole.

  3. Appearance • Polar bears are huge animals coved with a thick woolly fur that keeps them warm. they have a small head a black nose. They swim well because they have wide front paws and webbed toes.

  4. SIZE Polar bears are up to 3 rses long and weigh 770 kilos.

  5. Food • Polar bear are carnivores (meat eaters) .the hunt and catch their food in the sea . They hunt for seals and walrus.

  6. young • The female bear (sow) wbuilds a snow den to give birth to twin bears.

  7. Interesting fact • Polar bears don ,t drink water.

  8. threats • Large carnivores are sensitive indicators of ecosystem health. Polar bears are studied to gain an understanding of what is happening throughout the arctic. a polar bear at risk is often a sign of something wrong somewhere in the arctic marine ecosystem. Climate change toxic pollution oil and gas overharvesting.
