  2. As per survey done by international schools in India, children show their anger in many different ways. They may throw a tantrum, hit themselves or others, throw things, bite. They can become violent and start threatening or throwing things. It is really difficult to understand them when they are so worked up. There is a chance that your child is facing mental problems like autism, ADHD, stress, or problems related to regulating their emotions. The pandemic too had a major effect on child’s mental health. 3. SOME TIPS ON DEALING WITH CHILD’S AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR WWW.EDUMINATTI.COM

  4. KNOW WHY THEY ARE GETTING ANGRY Children are often seen kicking or crying when they are upset and can’t help themselves. They get angry with their parents and most likely be violent. When the child is calm, try and teach them about discussing a problem that they don’t know how to solve. This will allow them to be more open and interactive with their parents in their teenage and the children are less likely to indulge in harmful activities. WWW.EDUMINATTI.COM

  5. 2. KEEP YOURSELF CALM Studies have shown that the children who are exposed to hostile behavior from their parents are more likely to be more aggressive. Children are great at picking new habits, and if you get angry whenever they get angry, they might end up doing the same to you Many child psychologists believe that parents who are quiet and the patient can cool down their kids by just being calm WWW.EDUMINATTI.COM

  6. 3. GIVE YOUR CHILD SOME TIME Your child may start hiding things from you and lie to cover up their whereabouts. A simple solution to avoid this from happening is to give them some space and let them cool down. Once they are calm, you can ask them about what is bothering them. Discuss the issues and how to resolve them. This way, they will learn how to control their angry behavior as well. WWW.EDUMINATTI.COM

  7. 4. NO VIOLENT CARTOONS OR SHOWS Children pick up things very fast. They tend to learn what they are seeing and say what they are hearing. Of course, at this age, it is impossible to keep children away from television or laptops, or the Internet. Perhaps you can limit their exposure to these kinds of shows and have them watch movies that are more kind, humble, and empathetic. WWW.EDUMINATTI.COM

  8. 5. TALK TO A PROFESSIONAL If you have tried almost everything and your child still doesn’t seem to lose the aggressive nature, chances are he or she is dealing with some kind of behavioral disorder. Maybe it’s not the case, but talking to a psychologist can’t go wrong. They can help you understand why your child is acting the way and how you can help help to get out of that situation. They may also suggest some activities that might help your child to learn new skills. WWW.EDUMINATTI.COM
