  2. Screech, Screech, Screech. You hear a noise that sounds like a key scratching on a car. Then a face pops out at you. Then a black and white ringed tail. Then the whole body. You notice that it’s very monkey looking. The monkey looking mammal with a black and white ringed tail happens to be the ring tailed Lemur! Did you know that Lemur means spirit of the evil dead? Well if you want to know if this mammal from the Madagascar which is in the Indian Ocean and east of Africa is evil or not read on!

  3. The life Cycle Everything has a cycle of life. Would you like to know a ring tailed Lemurs? Well first a ring tailed Lemur female has live birth to 1-2 babies in August or October. Then when it starts to rain newborns ride on their mothers belly for their firs two weeks. Then later transfer to their mothers back. It takes two years for a ring tailed Lemur to become an adult. They will live up to 35 years.

One adaptation of it is it uses its great jumping ability to jump over plants. Another adaptation is they will talk to each other when danger is close in distance.   5. Diet Now come and listen to what even keeps us alive. Its food! Ring tailed Lemurs love fruit and eat it if it’s available. It also eats flowers, seeds, plants and leaves. Leaves are last on the list though. Now lets sneak to the next slide without running into the ring tailed Lemur!
