Renewal of Vodafone SpaceLet Ltd.-- Underprocessing 8. Installation of UTM firewall at HO. - Received 9.Seprate Server for POD’s and Scanning - Done 10. Installation of Original antivirus Email branch computers– Going on

  5. Benefit to the Company:- Highlights :- Upgradations of Data Server. Maintenance of Server Room. New POD Server for fast retrieval of PODs. Installations of Networking Wire in D2D.

  6. Upgradations of Data Server:- Done by Deepak Kumar & DushyantKohli We have upgraded data server by replacing of Hard Disk of 900 GB & Increased RAMs from 32GB to 64 GB on dt.8/12/13. Also we have format server & configure all setting with latest tools. From this we have save Rs.20,000/- for company. Now server is working properly & speed & performance is better as confirmed by users. Below is screen shot of HDD & RAMs. Points reflects to mission – Benefit to the company

Maintenance of Server Room:- Done by Deepak Kumar, DushyantKohli & OpinderKrishan We have done maintenance of server room on dt.8/12/13 after removing all servers, VPN Connections, Internet connections etc. For this we have conveyed to all users through emails and phone. we completed maintenance in our time frame and saved company Rs.40,000/-. If this maintenance done by outsider engineer then company will lost Rs.40,000/- Below is screen shot of Server Maintenance. Points reflects to mission – Benefit to the company

Configure New POD & Scanning Server:- Done by Deepak Kumar, DushyantKohli & OpinderKrishan We have configure new POD & Scanning server for retrieval of fast data of PODs & Scanning on dt.27/12/13. Actually Our Email server which was spare from long time & now we get this server live by configuring PODs & Scanning databases. From this the data which we fetch earlier from data server is retrieved fast from PODs and scanning server. Benefits of this server:- Fast retreive data / images of Scanning and PODs. Stored Images of Scanning data (GRs, GPs, Challans & Personal Doessiers) Stored images of PODs. Direct upload Flexi users data. Direct Mobile Scanning PODs upload in this server. Easily view of Scanning and PODs data.

  9. Installations of Networking Wire in D2D HQ:- Done by Deepak Kumar & OpinderKrishan We have installed Networking wire in D2D HQ on dt. 28/12/13. Actually uplink wire from NIC to D2D HQ was cracked & were needs to replaced, For this we have get approval from MD office & installed wire in same day. From urgent actions & efforts of our engineer we have save company 2 days work…. Benefits of replacing wire:- Direct uplink given in main switch. Now routinely problems of internet removed. Used Dlink CAT6e wire with 1 year warranty. Less downtime after power interuptions. Wifi connections also broadcast through direct link…

Installations of MPLS VPN:- Done by Deepak Kumar & Manvi Sharma We have get installations of MPLS VPN connectivity in below mentioned stations on dt.9/12/13, We have tested link & is working properly,,,but on hold due to earthing…. List of stations where VPN Installed: MRT YMU BOM KDL GGN HXR Note: In MRT earthing parameters complete & link is live….. Points reflects to mission – Constant Improvement

Installations Microsoft Licence:- Done by Rohit Kumar & KuldeepChadda We have Installed Microsoft Windows 8 Licence in Head Office & Branches after getting all informations of Computers/laptops through Balacr Advisor… We have maintain the details of windows 7 & 8 Licence…. Reports of Windows 7 & 8 Licence Installations: Total Licence : 250 Windows 7 Installed : 118 Windows 8 Installed : 3 Balance : 129 Points reflects to mission – Constant Improvement

Changed Layout of Fast-Track:- Done by Nitin Sharma We have changed the layout of fast-track MIS website as advised by MD Sir…From this users can easily get informations whatever changes be done in hardware and softwares….Its also be benefits that before going on any changes, we can see what we had changed in previously….   14. Hurdles:- • Facing Problems during configuring RAID in data server. Solutions: Get help from Seniors (IBM & DELL) & configure the same…. 2. Flexi Hours Computer Installations…. Solutions: . Format, SQL 2008 installed in 64 Bits with Scanning Software in there own laptops and given training to Flexi users…..

  15. Future Plans for Jan’14 Demo for New Servers through IBM ( Digitech Solutions & Aman Technologies. Installations of UTM Firewall in HOJ. Installations of New Antivirus in Servers Installations of VPN in 6 Locations. Airtel VPN proposal finalaize. Release of VPN payments (Sify & Vodafone) Computer formatting documentations. Configure Separate Internet Link (Sify) in Senior Officials.
