Event summary: 2008 • Feb 16, 2:19, 2:45UT (Nakamura et al) and 4:50UT onsets (Gabrielse et al., JGR) • P2 At 2.5RE from nominal neutral sheet • At 20RE, initial activations accompanied by Swd, or bipolar field • Tailward beams close to the neutral sheet • If at the right meridian, P2 shows clear signatures within ~1min of onset • Feb 22, 4:37UT onset (See: Liu, J. et al, JGR) • P1, P2 At 1.5RE from nominal neutral sheet • At 30RE, initial onset accompanied by bipolar field • Twd beams accompany by Swd field • P1 signatures start within ~1min of ground onset • Feb 26, 4:37UT onset (In progress: Angelopoulos, V. et al, Science) • P1, P2 At 0.5RE from nominal neutral sheet • At 20RE, reconnection onset 96 s before ground signatures • Mar 01, 01:48:52UT, 01:54:30UT onsets (See: Runov, A. et al) • P1, P2 At 0. 5RE from nominal neutral sheet • At 23RE, onsets accompanied by tailward flows, southward fields • Twd beams arrived ahead of flows • P1 signatures start within <1min of ground onset
